The Theory Part of Your Driving Test
The theory test is made up of two parts; the multiple choice part and the hazard perception part. You need to pass both parts to pass the theory test. Once you have passed the theory test you can then apply to take your practical driving test.

The Practical Part of Your Driving Test
According to DSA (Driving Standards Agency) the average pupils takes 45 hours of professional tuition tied with 22 hours practice (with parents/ partners etc) before being ready to take their practical driving test. This figure varies for each pupil, some may need only 30 hours whereas some may take longer, nearer 60 hours.
